Irin Aajo: Ejiogbe.

In collaboration with Emalohi Iruobe; the duo are exploring migration and its role in identity. Using sound, themselves, performance, sculpture, video and assemblage, their work is an exploration of history and memory in relation to identity across many migrations.

Emalohi Iruobe is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher and confronter of distorted histories whose community engaged-practice, sculpture, painting, performance, installation and assemblage investigates cycles in history, society and families and its effect on identity; including the effects of migration on the body and psyche.

Their Film Installation - EJIOGBE is inspired by the first book of the Ifa Corpus and examines the formidable state of mind of migrants.
